Feb Haul ;-)

OK so after my rant about my disappointment yesterday I thought I would share with you the items that i actually purchased and what i have in mind to style them.

So from Primark for the first time ever the only item I purchased are these PJs, they were £10 for the set but the material is lovely and light and really comfortable.

Then from H&M I bought a stripy black and white jumper which goes just past the bum and I thought would look nice with leggings and knee boots this was £7.99.

I also bought a dress which was on sale and reduced to £7 and I am hoping to slim into this dress for the summer as it is only a medium!!!! but couldnt resist as I thought it would look nice with wedges and a neck scarf in the summer.

From there I then went to New Look and purchased a pair of loafers leopard print style and I am in love with these, not quite sure how I will wear them just yet though....these were £15.99.

I also bought this striped navy and white top, just plain and simple really. I thought it would go nice with a pair of turn up jeans and converse??? This was £6.99.

I also bought this dress which was £15 from George at Asda. I thought this could be dressed up and down either with tights for a more formal look or with black or red sandals for a more casual look.

Then from ebay I won this jacket which I think was about £3 plus £4 postage, and this was also o go with a plain t shirt, jeans and converse for a casual look.

I am hoping soon that I will have the confidence to do some What I wore posts, think I need to get a decent camera first!!! sorry about the poor picture quality.

SKINNY? ME? NOOOOOO!

OK so I was really disappointed yesterday, I had a little spare money and thought I would make a start on my Spring wardrobe. So I headed for Southport Town centre firstly I visited Primark, and just so you know I am a huge fan of Primark, when I go I usually buy the store! Well I walked out with a pair of PJs for myself and a pair for my little boy, really disappointed. Primark seem to have used the same material for every item in their S/S range (shiny, silky stuff) and if your a size 18 like me you will know its not the most flattering of materials.

Anyway leaving Primark feeling deflated H&M was my next stop. Now I also love H&M for their simple essentials, reasonable prices and sizes that fit! so when I found that almost every item in the store (apart from the plus size range which is an 18-24) had a choice of a size XS, S and the odd M, not good H&M!!! So I left with a jumper and a vest, when I could of easily left with quite a few items more if they had them in L!! So as I was really annoyed about this I decided to send an email to let them know about their size issues, I will let you know the outcome.

New Look surely had to rescue the day, didn't they???? well lets say there was more than one type of material in the shop and they had things to fit the "average" size girl and not just super skinnies!!!!
